Weekly Email for Nov 2

Greetings!

We’ve had another wonderful week here at the Moishe/Kavod House. The Farm-to-Shul Team, the Housing Justice Team, and the Shabbat Team each gathered for visioning sessions, and Costume Shabbat was once again full of spirited song and prayer (and, of course, creative costumes). Please see below for upcoming events and ways to become more involved in the community. Lastly, please save the date for our annual Exotic Latkes Channukah Celebration – Wednesday December 12th. If you’d like to help plan the party or slave over a sizzling stove, please contact Sean at me@sphogan.com

Until Later,

Margie, Michelle, Annie, and Alix

P.S. Please note that if you are submitting anything for the weekly e-mail, it needs to be sent to moishehouseboston@gmail.com no later than 10am on Sunday morning. Thanks!

P.P. S. If you’ve got a social venture idea that will engage, leverage, and inspire Boston’s community… If you’ve seen challenges you’re itching to meet… or a social venture idea that you’ve been waiting to start, keep reading. The CJP/PresenTense Boston Social Entrepreneur Fellowship is a five-month fully-funded program that enables young, Jewish, socially-minded entrepreneurs to turn their envisioned projects into reality.  Applications are due in November and the Fellowship will begin in January.  For more information, visit  www.bostonfellowship.com or contact Elana Boehm at 617-457-8586 or elanaboehm@presentense.org.
