Moishe/Kavod is rolling out a development team – a group of thoughtful, innovative folks eager to work strategically to help us bring in the financial support we need to survive and thrive. Tasks might include grant writing, donor relationship development, exploring new sources of funding, and exploring the politics around fund raising from organizations with different values and priorities. Intrigued? Please contact Julie (jaronowitz@gmail.com) to talk about this further and to find out about a kickoff meeting to be held March 15th at 7pm.
A fabulous opportunity has come our way. The UUA and UCC, joint creators of the curriculum we use for our Sex Ed class, are holding a training in facilitating the young adult program. Our facilitator, Mimi Arbeit, will be attending, and you could go with her! The training will be held in Framingham, MA, the weekend of Friday 4/9 – Sunday 4/11. Transportation, lodging, food and funding available through our Moishe/ Kavod Sex Ed grant, for those who apply through Mimi (mimi.arbeit@gmail.com).
