Additionally, just in time for your New Year’s Resolutions, the second round of the Mussar Practice Group will begin on Thursday, January 14 at 7pm. It’s a group for young adults, in their 20s and early 30s who are interested in self-growth and spiritual reflection. The group will focus on different personality traits each week and how to work on them. The group is led by Rabbi David Jaffe, teacher and dean at Gann Academy. There will be a total of 4 sessions and they will meet every other week on Thursdays, starting on January 14. There is a cost of $25 for the course. P.S. A brief note from JCRC: Calling all Jewish Young Adults in the greater Boston Area! Are you looking for a way to get involved in meaningful community service with a social twist? Sign up for Reach Out!, the new community service program brought to you by the Jewish Community Relations Council of Boston. Beginning February 1, participants will volunteer once per week for two months at one of five partner sites with five to ten Jewish young adult peers. Volunteer opportunities include feeding the homeless, connecting with children, connecting with seniors, assisting low income individuals with their taxes, and tutoring adults studying for their GED.
