Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
I am proud to announce that the housemate interview committee has chosen three lovely ladies who will be joining Margie Klein to make up the new team of Moishe/Kavod housemates, as the housemates’ roles and the community transition in tandem to develop more sustainable structures including a board.
Congratulations to three new Moishe/Kavod Housemates who will be moving in at various points this summer:
Annie Fox, formerly of New York, NY, dancer, union organizer extraordinaire and lover of fancy foods;
Leah Krieger, currently studying in Israel, and starting social work school in the fall, a fabulous dancer and cook; and
Alix Zamansky, previously of Lewiston, ME, mistress of the Shabbat team and rocker of the tie-dye, who works in the field of mental health.
They were chosen for their individual and combined traits as organizers, teachers, leaders and friends, and interests in all of Moishe/Kavod’s programmatic areas, in Judaism and social justice and their intersections, and for their ability to create positive, welcoming, spiritual, just, fun and sustainable spaces.
